About Rapport

Rapport Counselling is an unconditionally welcoming space for 18+ folks needing support. If you are under 18 or have a child who is and requires specialised assistance, I can provide you with a list of suitable therapists who are well-equipped to treat young people.

I welcome people from all walks of life, all corners of the community. I am a gender-affirming, sex-positive, body positive therapist. Life is hard for each of us in unique ways. My goal as a counsellor is to help alleviate this burden by accepting you wholeheartedly, while providing tools to reduce barriers and improve life quality. I strive to create a safe space for people to explore themselves in an environment free of judgement.

About Naomi

I have always been drawn towards helping people. First as a musician, then as a teacher, and now also as a counsellor. I have spent over two decades in the music industry, singing in harmony and teaching others to do the same. When the pandemic changed the music world I embarked upon the next stage of my journey, applying my collaborative and emotive musical skills to helping individuals, couples and families improve their personal situations and begin to thrive rather than just survive.

I have a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and am a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). I have been working at the Gender Centre since 2020, first as a volunteer, then as a student counsellor. I am a full provider member of the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH). I am passionate about assisting people to live their most authentic life and walking beside them while they navigate any challenges this path presents.
